Frequently Asked Questions
How long does HellScream take?
Most guests spend around 20 minutes inside, although timing varies with the group and operating conditions.
What age is recommended?
We recommend HellScream for ages 13 and up. Children under 13 must be accompanied by an adult. No refunds for scaredy-cats!
Are tickets timed?
No. HellScream tickets are not timed.
Does HellScream operate in bad weather?
Yes, but there are days when we have to close. Please keep an eye on our Facebook page if the weather is questionable.
Are bags, costumes, and masks allowed?
Small bags are permitted. Large bags, costumes, and masks that interfere with your vision or create an unsafe environment are not permitted.
Are tickets transferable?
Yes. HellScream tickets are transferable.
Are service animals permitted?
Yes, service animals are permitted. However, we recommend against bringing them because the haunted house includes loud noises, darkness, fog, flashing lights, and sudden effects that can be traumatic for animals.
Are portions of the attraction outdoors?
Yes. A portion of HellScream is outdoors.
Are tickets available at the door?
Weekend general-admission tickets may be available online and in person, subject to availability. Weekday tickets are sold online only. Buying in advance is recommended.
What is the difference between general admission and VIP?
Both ticket types include the same haunted experience. VIP admission uses a faster-entry line and is available on select dates. Check the ticket options offered for your chosen night.
Will the actors touch me?
No. Our actors may get very close, but they will not intentionally touch you. Guests may not touch actors, props, or other customers.
What if I become too scared to continue?
Tell the nearest actor or staff member and we will help escort you out. There are no refunds after entering the attraction.
What should I wear?
Wear comfortable clothing and secure shoes suitable for walking, stairs, low visibility, and uneven or moving surfaces. High heels are not permitted. Avoid loose jewelry and valuables.
Can I take photos or video inside?
No photography or video recording is permitted inside the haunted attraction. Keep phones and other valuables secured during your visit.
Does HellScream use fog, flashing lights, loud noises, or strobe effects?
Yes. HellScream is an intense sensory experience that includes darkness, theatrical fog, loud and sudden sounds, flashing or strobe lighting, enclosed spaces, moving floors, and startling effects.
Is HellScream wheelchair accessible?
HellScream is a multi-story attraction with stairs and physically demanding conditions. Please contact us before purchasing tickets if you use a wheelchair, have difficulty with stairs, or need an accommodation so we can discuss the options available for your visit.
Are tickets refundable?
There are no refunds after entering the haunted attraction. Review the terms presented during checkout for cancellation, transfer, and date-change policies.
Can I visit HellScream and The Fear Complex on the same night?
Yes. The attractions are separate experiences only a short drive apart. Look for combo and multi-haunt options on the ticket page, and allow enough travel and waiting time to complete both.
Important Safety Information
HellScream includes intense audio, darkness, low visibility, theatrical fog, flashing and strobe lights, enclosed spaces, moving floors, sudden actions, stairs, and physically demanding conditions. Do not enter if these conditions may create a health or safety risk for you. Guests who are pregnant, intoxicated, using crutches, or wearing a cast or medical brace will not be admitted. Running, smoking, eating, drinking, touching actors or props, and interior photography or video are prohibited. HellScream reserves the right to refuse admission or remove guests who do not follow attraction rules.
